The Leopard Tortoise is a large terrestrial tortoise species characterized by distinct black spots and yellow stripes on its shell, resembling a leopard’s pattern.
Habitat: A large and well-designed enclosure is required, with bedding options such as coconut coir. Provide ample hiding spots and basking areas.


Temperature and Humidity: Daytime temperature should be around 28-32 degrees Celsius, with nighttime temperatures not dropping below 20 degrees Celsius. Maintain humidity levels between 40%-60%.


Diet: Primarily high-fiber vegetables (such as sweet potato leaves, alfalfa, etc.) and grasses, with an appropriate mix of fruits.


Bathing: Regularly bathe the tortoise to promote digestion and hydration.


Lighting: Provide ample UVB light to assist in vitamin D3 synthesis and aid in calcium absorption.


Daily Management: Keep the enclosure clean and regularly check the tortoise’s health, addressing any illnesses promptly.
